Here is a little background about The Blues Plate Special. This 60 minute music and interview television show is broadcast across most of Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts. It goes out to potentially 600,000 homes (1,500,000 people) every week and it is considered very popular in the blues community. We work very closely with The Connecticut Blues Society (a non-profit organization) and feel that our blues program provides a cultural service to the community at large. Our format is unusual in that we go out into the club scene with a mobile studio and capture the performance using 4 roving camera's. We’ve produced more than 80 episodes, showcasing the talents of Walter Trout, Carl Weathersby, Deanna Bogart, Kid Bangham, Amyl Justin, Lee "Shot" Williams, Eddie Kirkland and many more.
